Of an intense shiny ruby red color of médium high intensity, clean and bright. Outstanding notes of ripe red fruit, plums and blueberries, on elegant and subtle toasted aromas. Pleasant on the palate, it shows raspberry jam hints along with slightly vainilla and cacao toasted notes. It is well-balanced, with a delicate, enveloping and rich ending.
Ramón Castaño founded Bodegas Castaño, in 1950. Pioneering the use of the Monastrell grape. With the incorporation of his three children, the true innovation started and with it, the expansion to international markets. Two winemaking cellars, fully equipped with stainless steel tanks for a correct maceration process at controlled temperatures. An underground oak barrel-ageing cellar with temperatura and humidity control, and a warehouse with the appropriate light and conditions to provide the wine bottles with their final rest before their release to the world.
